Duration: 3 years (April 1, 2025 – March 31, 2028)
This project is funded by the Government of Canada.
This project is focused on fully supporting standardized and accountable English and French national language training programs (LINC/CLIC) that are adapting to changing delivery methods and diverse participant needs.
CCLB will deliver four activities to increase sector capacity to provide standardized, accountable language training services in various modalities to a diverse client base:
- Update the national language frameworks: CLB: ESL for Adults, NCLC : Français langue seconde pour adultes, CLB: ESL for ALL, NCLC : FLS pour AMA and relevant supports, including the CLB Bootcamp and the Camp de formation aux NCLC.
- Develop CLB/NCLC Professional Development (PD) calibration training for LINC and CLIC instructors.
- Build capacity for CLB/NCLC content development through a micro-credential certification that will provide professionals with a common set of standards around CLB- and NCLC-based resource development.
- Support LINC/CLIC staff through national and regional leadership activities to enable knowledge-sharing through professional development events.
